Hi! Me and some of my friends are creating How I Met Your Mother Wiki page in Turkish. We currently have 14 pages and the theme is very similar. Is there any way someone can help me contact the staff members so I can ask if we can add our wiki to the other languages part.
in the dropdown menus, the himyf episodes are out of order and several are missing
I just remember robin being emotional and she comes knocking on ted's door and says " please say yes" to which ted replies with a yes and they hug.
Hi guys,
I am looking for a scene, in which Barney jokes about being 60 or something and having his 3rd 20 year old wife. Ted replies something like: "You know, you make a lot of these jokes" The details might be off, but I'm looking for this scene if somebody can help.
Thanks!
I think how I met your father would be 82% better without the fake laughs. What do y’all think?

I recently bumped in this article which talks about Ted & Marshall's coliving bond. I don't know about you guys, But Marshall is my FAVOURITE sitcom roommate. What do you guys think? https://roomiapp.com/blog/us/ted-and-marshall-impart-living-advice/
On this episode, at 18minutes and 54 seconds, when Robin and Barney are walking away, there's some pictures from different places in the world. Is that a sign for what Robin and Barney would come to live?
We are a team of personality scientists and How I Met Your Mother fans from the universities of Cambridge (UK) and Mannheim (Germany). We grew up with Ted, Robin, Lily, Marshall, and Barney and loved the show! Now we want to run the first scientific study ever to investigate the personalities of the How I Met Your Mother characters. To do that, we rely on the expertise of other How I Met Your Mother fans – such as you here at the How I Met Your Mother fandom page! Concretely, we would really appreciate it if we could get as many diehard fans as possible to complete our brief, anonymous, gamified online survey (duration: 5-8 minutes), in which you rate the typical behaviors of your favorite How I Met Your Mother characters.

Since we are coming up on the time in which "The Mother" dies, thinking this is the time (if there was one) to have a reunion special. Starting from the wake of Tracy's funeral there should be a show that recaps the series from each of the points of view of the characters besides Ted. We all loved the episode "How Your Mother Met Me" for its turn of the series that showed all the near misses Ted and Tracy had over the years. It should be a 3 part series (which could be added to CBS Streaming). Episode 1 would be through Barney's perspective filled with all the catch phrases, hook ups, and zoning outs. Episode 2 would be from Lily and Marshall. Episode 3 would be from the eyes of Robin leading up to Ted coming back with the Blue French Horn in 2030.
Ok so, here is my theory:
In the episode of "Aldrin Justice" Barney tried to help Marshall get a good grade by have intercourse with the 'cougar', where he ends up being a B+, even though he wanted to get an A, before Marshall stops him by saying he should be proud to be a B+. Later in the series (episode where Robin and Lily are trying to figure out what alcohol is best for Barney and Ted to be friends again) there is a short scene during New Years eve at Mclarens pub, where Barney is sat on the booth with Robin saying that he always thought he was an A but he always has been a B+. I think this is a secret reference within the series, but what do yous think?
One of the most loved TV shows, how i met your mother, became extremely popular due to the appeal that the show had on the young adult ages.
When how i met your mother began to air in 2005 it quickly became a very popular TV show among young adults. The real question being, how did the producers create a show that specifically attracted his age group. One of the most prominent attributes in the show was the creation of fun catchphrases and inside jokes. Barney was one of the most beloved characters throughout the entire show. He was fun, always ready to party, and had slept with 200+ women. Not only this, but he created many catchphrases that were well thought out. It’s hard to explain why these catchphrases were so contagious, but it just made everyone watching the show either create their own catchphrases or take Barney’s legendary catchphrases, his most notable catchphrase being “IT WILL BE LEGN- (WAIT FOR IT) -DARY”. The combination of the ideal cool guy, Barney, and the rest of Ted’s friend group, really made the younger generations fall in love with this show. In my experience, I almost felt like I was apart of the show myself.
If you love and remember the show as much as I do, then you definitely recall all the times the show forced you to use your imagination. Let me start off with an example. The first mystery episode that I remember watching, was about the pineapple. Ted had a crazy night partying and slept with a random stranger. That wasn’t the only mystery however, Ted and his friends noticed that there was a pineapple that had been sitting on his nightstand. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn’t figure out where the pineapple came from. Creating a very unimportant matter in the show, like a pineapple, while creating a huge mystery behind it is one of the reasons that made me and others fall in love with the show.
how i met your mother aired for a total of 10 years (2005-2015). A large part of the show was knowing that eventually, they would all have to go their separate ways. I think this is an important detail of how the show was effective to its watchers. Viewers, when the show started, were around the ages of 17-25 (at least that’s my speculation), and as the show aired for 10 years, the actors became older along with the watchers. It created a bond that made the situations in the show feel relatable to the audience.
These three points that I listed are three of the many reasons why how i met your mother became as popular as it did among young adults. If you are reading this review in order to gain insight on whether you should watch the show or not, let me be straight forward and say, yes you should. It’s a great show that made me feel just a little more complete than I did before.

At some point in the series Ted was ranting about something and said the forest gump quote 'and thats all I have to say about that'. I know he said it to stella in the car (season 4 episode 23) but I feel like he said it somewhere else! This is killing me, if anyone knows when he said it please help me out.
I just finished watch the whole season of himym, for me personally, it's dissapointing why ted ended up together with robin instead of having a long happy marriage with tracy. I just think that it'd be more realistic if ted still with tracy and GOD DAMN IT why tracy episodes are so shorttt!!!!
