I'm not sure if this is an easter egg of if i'm just getting this wrong. I noticed that in their own weddings both Barney and Ted saw the brides in their wedding dresses. Robin said "I know it's bad luck to see the bride in her wedding dress." And Tracy said the same thing too. Both of their marriages somehow 'failed' such as Barney and Robin's divorce and the death of Tracy. What do you think?

I am going to put together an FAQ to help new users. What are some things you wish you had been able to find out right away when you were new? Things you still don't know? Or really any suggestions.

I took a long wiki break after setting this wiki up and getting it running. After finally sitting down to watch the end of the show I decided to come back and spend some more time here and I'm so impressed with how much this wiki has evolved.

When I came to this wiki it was nearly empty. I took the opportunity to design the templates and format of the episode pages and references. I wrote policy, welcomed new users, set up a twitter and facebook presence, even spent some time on tv.

I can't take all the credit of course. I was lucky to leave this wiki in the hands of very capable admins after me. And from the activity and enthusiasm, it seems like they have continued to do a great job and maintain this community as a welcoming, enthusiastic place where people eagerly work together to improve the wiki.

I recently visited a wiki for another show and was horrified by how unwelcoming the admin there was. He blocked users excessively and treated them abusively. It saddens me to think fans of other shows don't get the chance to learn about fun chronicling the adventures of their favorite characters can be. And it warms my heart to know that this wiki kept being the place I wanted it to be even in my absence. (If you are interested in the shows American Dad and Family Guy and want to help fix those wikis, hit me up).

But I just wanted to thank my fellow admins and this wonderful community. I'm going to try and keep tabs on this wiki now that the show is over and hope I can help keep this a great place to be.

THANK YOU. You have the best wikia community on this site. It's very welcoming ab=nd never rude (well maybe in the comment and heated moments in forums). The admins are fantastic, they aren't shoving rules or policies down our throats or making 50 updates a day. Good bye and thank you to whomever leaves this site, you are the best online community ever. I will stay on this wiki for as long as i can because everyone is just so wonderful.

in episode 9 - the last scene - Ted says hello to a stripper - she says her name is amber - but then she tells him that her real name is Tracy - and then Ted says to the kids "and that's how i met your mother" , the kids are shocked and then Ted quickly says "just joking"

Turns out they revealed that the mother's name was tracy...

I think there might be a parallel between the Wildflowers story Robin's grandmother told us in Vesuvius.  Daisies might have to do with B/R wedding or T/M wedding...or both.

Season 9 is going to be great!!!!!!!!! This is the last and final season ever!!!!!!!! The last episode is called "Last time forever part 2"!!!!!!! Barney and Robin wedding is coming up too through this whole entire season!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo excited!!!!!!! Stay tuned for himym!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bye!!!!!!!!!!!

Can we have 1 page with all the Ted and The Mother flash forwards from this season? Its a bit of a pain to go through the entire season to find them.

I feel like it will help establish her timeline. Especially for those who believe in the Mother is Dead theory.
