Bernice is the elderly woman Ted Mosby meets at The Farhampton Train Station after Barney and Robin's wedding moments before meeting The Mother.

She is an elderly lady that is first seen at the Farhampton Train Station waiting with Ted for the train to New York, when Ted begins telling her about the bass player in the wedding.
She is first seen in Farhampton and is last seen twice in Last Forever - Part Two. She may be the main reason that Ted talks to Tracy because she convinced him to do it. She implies that she'd go to their wedding because she set them up.
