Hannah is a recurring character in the Hulu series, How I Met Your Father. She is portrayed by Ashley Reyes.

Background

Hannah is a resident surgeon living in Los Angeles. She is in a long distance relationship with her husband, Sid, who is a bar owner in New York City. She attended college with Drew Rubin and medical school with Sid, where they met.

At a "Disengagement Party" for Val and Swish, tension arises between Sid and Hannah when it gets revealed that she has been looking at houses in Los Angeles. This leads to an argument between Hannah and Sid, as Sid is annoyed since they had always planned to settle in New York. Eventually, Sid opens up about the idea of moving to Los Angeles. However, after some thought, Hannah decides to move back to New York.

At the end of Season 2, Hannah opens up to Sid that she kissed someone else. Sid forgives her but is upset about the situation.
