Sophie dates an older man, which encourages Jesse, Sid, and Charlie to take better care of themselves. Sophie and Val battle over who gets the apartment for date night.

Sophie's relationship with Robert is going well, and Valentina decides to explore dating people who are not her age. She brings a college freshman named Swish back to their apartment while Sophie and Robert have a night in, but things quickly turn sour when they insult each other's dates. Valentina later admits that she's only dating Swish because he finds it impressive when she does anything remotely adult.
Sophie wonders if Robert is only dating her for similar reasons and tests this theory by making plans for a month later. However, Robert reveals that his age is catching up to him and he didn't want Sophie to think he's old. They agree to go on a weekend trip the following week. Meanwhile, Swish overhears Valentina say she loves him and proposes to her. Valentina accepts, but assumes he'll forget soon.
Jesse is still upset over Sophie, so Ellen tries to cheer him up. Rachel returns from Florida and they end up having sex on Jesse's bed. When Jesse finds them, they tell him to move on from Sophie and help him find a woman to have sex with. Charlie and Sid visit a spa for facial rejuvenation treatments but end up getting facial injections and chemical peels. When Jesse and his date return to the apartment, they are freaked out by their appearance. They attempt to have sex, but Jesse's date leaves after finding a bra in his bed from either Ellen or Rachel.
