Michael Girard is the husband of Laura Girard and ex-neighbour of Marshall Eriksen and Lily Aldrin.
In The Platinum Rule, Laura and Michael become Lily and Marshall's new friends until they get too friendly and Marshall and Lily drop them as friends. Lily and Marshall get scared of confronting him and Laura but they soon are able to say hi without being scared.
