Mike is a man who dated Robin in Slutty Pumpkin.

Robin tells the gang that she's been dating this guy named Mike for a few weeks, though she doesn't consider him to be her boyfriend. Lily suggests that they go on a double date on Halloween, and Robin reluctantly agrees. When Mike arrives at the apartment for the double date, Robin is shocked to find that he is dressed as Hansel, believing that Robin would dress up as Gretel.
During the double date, Lily and Marshall enthusiastically share their meals together, while Robin has no interest in sharing hers' with Mike, despite his best efforts. Later, Lily asks Robin if she really likes Mike, since she didn't wear a costume or share her food. Robin says that she doesn't like that "couple-y stuff", but relents and says she will share her dessert with Mike. When dessert comes, Robin attempts to share her sundae with Mike, but it becomes clear that Robin wants to remain an "I", while Mike wants to be a "we", and she hastily finishes the sundae herself. Mike decides to leave, and tells Robin that he doesn't get the sense that she likes being with him. Robin claims that she does, but Mike points out how independent she likes to be. Robin admits that she's set in her ways, and Mike says that's why it won't work out between them, and he breaks up with her.
Robin later tells Ted that she just got dumped by Mike, but then admits that she wasn't that into him.

- Mike was the first person Robin dates in the series, aside from her one date with Ted in the Pilot.
- Mike is credited as "Mark" in the ending credits of Slutty Pumpkin.
