Sophie tries to Parent Trap her parents. Sid and Ellen try their own master plan to nudge Jesse and Charlie into being roommates with each other.

Sophie and Valentina decided to play matchmakers for Sophie's parents, Lori and Nick. They invited them over for dinner, hoping to reignite their romance. However, to their surprise, they caught Lori and Nick passionately kissing. It turned out that the couple had actually reconciled weeks ago but had chosen to take things slow in order to rebuild their trust.
Meanwhile, Ellen expressed her desire to live independently, while Sid wanted to live alone with Hannah. In an attempt to solve the situation, they devised a plan to persuade Charlie and Jesse to move in together. They organized a sleepover and hoped that it would encourage Charlie and Jesse to consider living together. However, Charlie and Jesse confronted Ellen and Sid, feeling pressured and pushed away. Overwhelmed by the situation, Jesse retreated to his room, leaving Sophie feeling excluded from her parents' lives. Seeking solace, she joined Jesse in his room.
Jesse comforted Sophie, assuring her that the chaotic events were part of what made them a real family. Sophie noticed that Jesse had made efforts to impress her during their short-lived romance. Inspired by Jesse's words, she decided to apologize to her parents for feeling left out. As she left Jesse's room, the misunderstandings between Sid and Jesse, as well as Ellen and Charlie, were resolved, and they reconciled.
Later, Sophie received a text message inviting her to a game night. However, upon seeing that Parker would be present, she decided not to attend.

- It was revealed that Sophie and Nick are both fans of tiramisu, which caused Sophie to laugh and rejoice. In Family Business, Sophie was worried that she and Nick had nothing in common and was glad when she found at least some common features.

- Sophie runs away from her parents from the restaurant when she finds out that they are dating. In the future, in a similar way, her son runs away from her future self and the Father when they told him that he couldn't go to Olivia Rodrigo's farewell tour.
