Parker James is a guest character in the Hulu series, How I Met Your Father. She is portrayed by Meaghan Rath.
Background[]
Parker is the gym teacher at Jefferson Middle School, along with Drew and Jesse. Her mother went back to her maiden name after her divorce and her brother took his wife’s last name, making Parker the only “James” in her family.
Season Two[]
Parker starts dating Jesse in The Jersey Connection. In Shady Parker, she asks Jesse to move in with her. Sophie gets jealous and tries to find dirt on Parker. She calls Parker’s old school, who had no memory of her, but it was actually because the principal was new. Parker came highly recommended. In Okay Fine, It’s a Hurricane, Parker is never seen but Jesse heads to her apartment after a fight with Sophie. Jesse and Parker break up off-screen shortly after.
