Background[]
Rachel is Ellen's neighbour. Her grandma died in The Good Mom. During her wake, Ellen pretended to be grandma's friend, which later backfired. In Timing is Everything, Rachel moved into the apartment and Ellen accidentally found her cat. In Midwife Crisis, Ellen asked her out on a date.
