Sophie and Val have conflicting feelings about brunch with Val’s parents. The gang attends Jesse’s Long Island show.

Everyone except for Sid go to support Jesse at a concert. Jesse still feels hurt after his conversation with Sid. Deep down, he believes there must be a seed of truth to it. Meredith asks Jesse to accompany her to do some promotional appearances and he agrees. However, he sees the replay of his failed proposal to Meredith and this upsets him. He asks Meredith to take the video down but she refuses to.
Charlie tries to get Sid and Jesse to make up. He secretly sends Sid's cookies, pretending for them to be from Jesse. However, Sid has a walnut allergy and he almost dies after earing one of the cookies. Charlie has to call the paramedics. Sid realizes how much Jesse means to him after his near death experience. Sid decides to rush over to the concert to make up with Jesse. When he arrives, he finds out that Jesse and Meredith broke up again. Sid realizes he was right but still apologizes to Jesse and they make up.
Sophie goes with Valentina to visit Valentina's parents. They try to set Sophie up with a man named Oscar since Valentina won't let them set her up with anyone anymore. Valentina's parents think Valentina made up Charlie and this makes Valentina upset. She tries to take Oscar from Sophie but then she, Sophie, and Oscar all realize this was Valentina's parents plan all along. To get them to back off, they have a fake fight. Valentina's parents say sorry to Valentina for interfering. Oscar asks Sophie out.
