Valentina Morales is a main character in the Hulu series, How I Met Your Father. She is portrayed by Francia Raisa.
Background[]
Valentina is Sophie's roommate and best friend who she met during college when they were dating the same guy. She’s an aspiring stylist and Sophie’s best friend. She’s impulsive and adventurous, and Sophie relies on Valentina’s ability to cheer her up when she gets down. In the pilot, Valentina has just come back from London Fashion Week with the gorgeous, British, Charlie, who left his wealthy, aristocratic family behind to be with her.
Valentina and Charlie broke up, but tried to remain friends. Charlie and Valentina go to a restaurant for a date they booked when they were still dating, but eventually leave due to it being too romantic. Charlie told Valentina that he still does not want kids. Realizing that his reasons are the same reasons she does want kids, they agree to just stay friends.
At work, Valentina struggles with her demanding boss, Fred. She stands up for herself and tells him how it is and he promotes her.
Valentina starts dating a college freshman, Swish, who even proposes to her. She says yes hoping he'll forget about it soon. Eventually, she broke it off because she knew he wasn't her true love.
At the end of Season 2, it's revealed by Sophie that Valentina and Charlie eventually have a son named Alex.
