Sophie and Ellen get assigned to a work project together. Sid surprises Hannah in LA. Charlie and Val try to make the most of their time with Jesse after he gets a bad psychic reading.

Sophie finds out that Goliath Market is looking for a photographer to create content. Ellen and Sophie are excited about the opportunity to work together as they both wish to become work besties. Sophie gets the job and celebrates with friends at a bar, where Val and Jessie express their happiness for her. Sophie offers to help Ellen get into a better krav maga class in return.
On their first day, Ellen teaches Sophie her special walk, and they enthusiastically start their work. Meanwhile, Val's visit to a psychic raises suspicions among the friend group. Jesse agrees to see the psychic, but his prediction of impending doom worries Val and Charlie. At work, Sophie discovers that Ellen never recommended her for the job, causing tension between them. However, they get paired for a project and begin working together.
Sid surprises Hannah at her workplace, but his attempts to connect with her colleagues fail. As the campaign presentation approaches, Ellen admits to Sophie that she didn't recommend her due to doubts about her ability to hold a job. Their meeting becomes heated, leading to a disastrous presentation. Hannah reveals to Sid that she has decided to move back to New York.
Despite the anticipation of Jesse's doom, he survives after midnight, however he has concerns about the time zone. The next day, Sophie and Ellen witness the success of their cabbage campaign as they stroll down the street.
